He is especially passionate about serving fellow business owners and multi-generational families, with a vision of creating a family office-style experience that delivers personalized guidance through every stage of life.

Sean started his career with Merrill Lynch, relocating after graduation to the firm’s East Coast headquarters. He gained invaluable experience over his 13 years, working in various departments ranging from Retirement Planning to advising clients and serving as part of the Syndicate Team. His experience in both corporate and client-facing environments shaped his disciplined approach to wealth management while reinforcing the importance of personalized advice and execution.

In 2019, Sean left Merrill Lynch to join Raymond James, where he continued serving clients through a highly personalized and relationship-focused approach. His experience ultimately reinforced his desire for greater independence, advanced technology, and the flexibility to serve clients through a fee-only Registered Investment Advisor model. Now, as founder of Third Current Wealth, an Echo45 Navigator firm, Sean continues to focus on what matters most to him: working directly with clients and providing personalized guidance built around their individual goals.

Sean holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®) designation and serves on the Salvation Army Advisory Board, reflecting his commitment to supporting both clients and the broader community.

 Sean lives in Sacramento with his wife and better half, Jeni, and their two boys. Outside of the office, he enjoys motorsports, fly fishing, and spending time at their family home in Truckee. He’s also an avid BBQ enthusiast who takes great pride in his brisket, ribs, and pulled pork.
